Patch Test How To
easy way to test for allergic reactions to products

Doing a patch test is easy and can save you from developing a reaction to any type of product you put on your skin. Every one's body is different and people can develop allergies out of the blue. We recommend consumers always do a patch test, just to be on the safe side. It should be a routine thing anytime you try something new.

1- Clean and dry a small area of skin on the inner side of your forearm. A 2"x2" or 4"x4" area is good.

2- Apply the product use want to test to the clean area.

3- Let it dry and keep it on for 24 hours.

4- After 24 hours check the area. Do you see any irritation, red spots or anything unusual happening to the appearance of your skin in the area?

If nothing shows up, it should be safe to use as you desire.

If something shows up, wash off the area and do not use the product tested, chances are you have some sensitivity to it and will get a reaction.

That's all you have to do, and it is always better to be safe then sorry.
